As those who have repented of their sin and believed in Jesus Christ for salvation,
and have been baptized,
we as Cross United Church freely and joyfully commit to pursue
wholehearted worship,
authentic community,
and joyful mission.

We Will Pursue
Wholehearted Worship
We will faithfully and consistently
gather for worship together (Heb. 10:25).
We will consistently connect in a smaller group
at Cross United Church (Sunday school, small group, etc) (Heb. 3:13).
We will give financially in a generous, sacrificial, regular, and cheerful way
to the church and its mission (2 Cor. 9:6-9).
We will cultivate consistent and vibrant worship and fellowship
with God personally (Mark 1:35) and as families (Deut. 6:4-8).
We Will Pursue
Authentic Community
We will pursue unity and Christian love
with other brothers and sisters in the Cross United family (Jn. 17:20-21).
We will submit to the church’s leaders according to Scripture (Heb. 13:17).
We will seek at all times to pray for, encourage, challenge, weep with, rejoice with,
and if necessary rebuke other members of the body (Rom. 12:15-16; 15:14).
We will avoid gossip, bickering, and other divisive actions (2 Cor. 12:20).
We Will Pursue
Joyful Mission
We will welcome visitors
with kindness and Christian love (Heb. 13:2).
We will serve in the ministry of the church
in a meaningful way (Eph. 4:11-12).
We will cultivate a Christian testimony of a holy life
of increasing obedience, living a life of repentance and faith (1 Thess. 4:3).
We will cultivate a missionary lifestyle,
seeking to spread the good news of Christ throughout South Florida
and connect people to a good local church
